Enquiring
Does enquiring with Pronto Loans affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check is only discussed once you've seen your options and decided you want to proceed.
Will my details be passed to lots of lenders?
No. We don't spray enquiries across the market. A real person reviews your situation and matches it to a suitable option, so your phone won't ring off the hook during service.
How long does the enquiry take?
About 60 seconds. Please fill it in accurately, especially the amount, what it's for, your state and any property you own, so we can match you properly the first time.
Who will contact me?
A real person who understands hospitality and retail trading. They'll have read your enquiry before calling, so the conversation starts from your situation, not a script.
Who and what we fund
What kinds of businesses does Pronto Loans help?
Hospitality and retail businesses: cafés, restaurants, small bars, bakeries, takeaways and pizza shops, and independent shops such as boutiques, bottle shops, delis, grocers, florists and gift stores.
What can the money be used for?
Business purposes such as fit-outs and refurbishments, commercial kitchen and coffee equipment, refrigeration, stock, lease bonds, seasonal cash flow, tax debts, buying a business or opening a second site.
How much can I borrow?
Property-secured business loans run from $20,000 to $5,000,000 over residential or commercial property. Unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses typically run from $5,000 to $500,000, sized on turnover and bank statements.
Can I get finance to open a new café or restaurant?
Yes, though new venues without trading history usually rely on property security. A signed lease, hospitality experience and a detailed budget help. Our fit-out cost estimator builds that budget with you.
Do you fund personal expenses or home purchases?
No. Pronto Loans is for business purposes only.
Credit, tax and security
Can I get a loan with bad credit?
Credit issues are considered case by case. Recent steady trading, an honest explanation and property security all help. Tell us upfront so we can find the right fit.
I have an ATO debt. Can I still apply?
Yes. ATO debt is considered case by case. Lodgements that are up to date and a payment plan you're keeping to make a real difference. Some owners use finance to clear the debt.
Do I need property to get a loan?
Not always. Established businesses can often access unsecured or cash-flow options sized on turnover. Property security opens up larger amounts and funding for new venues.
Why don't you publish interest rates?
Because every loan is priced on the business's own circumstances: trading, security, amount and term. A headline rate would tell you very little about what you'd actually pay. You'll get real numbers once we understand your situation.
Tools, timing and documents
What documents will I need?
It depends on the option, but commonly recent business bank statements, ID, BAS or financial statements, your lease, and quotes or invoices for what you're buying. We'll tell you exactly what's needed once you decide to proceed.
Can funds go straight to my builder or supplier?
Often, yes. For fit-outs, equipment and business purchases, funds can frequently be paid directly to the builder, supplier or seller.
When should I arrange funding for a busy season?
Before you place your orders or roster up, while your bank statements show steady trade. Our seasonal trade planner shows when your cash is likely to be tightest.
How does Payday Super affect my business?
Since 1 July 2026, super is paid with each pay run rather than quarterly, with contributions generally due at the fund within seven business days of payday. Wage-heavy venues feel it most in busy weeks. Our Payday Super page explains the cash-flow side.
Is the fit-out cost estimator an offer of finance?
No. It's a free planning tool that turns your quotes into a total cost to open, with GST timing and a funding gap. A real person confirms what's possible once they understand your situation.
Still have a question?
Read our how it works page, try the fit-out cost estimator, or simply ask. Enquiring takes about 60 seconds and there's no credit check at that stage.
