How it works
Six steps from your first question to funds in the account, built around how venues and shops actually trade.
Hospitality and retail owners don't have time to fill in the same details for five different lenders, or to take calls from strangers in the middle of the lunch rush. So we keep it simple: one short enquiry, one real person, and a straight answer about what's realistic.
- 1
1. Tell us about your venue or shop (about 60 seconds)
The amount, what it's for, your state and a few questions about how your business trades. There's no credit check when you first enquire.
- 2
2. A real person reads your enquiry
Someone who understands hospitality and retail looks at your details before calling, so the first conversation is useful rather than a script.
- 3
3. We talk it through
Your lease, your seasonal pattern, any property you own, any ATO debt or credit history. The more we understand, the better the match.
- 4
4. Options, explained plainly
Unsecured or property-secured, how much, what it costs, what's needed and what the trade-offs are. No pressure, and no pile of lenders ringing you.
- 5
5. Documents, only when you're ready
If you decide to go ahead, we tell you exactly what's needed: typically bank statements, ID, BAS or financials, your lease and quotes for what you're buying.
- 6
6. Approval and funding
Once approved and the paperwork is signed, funds go to your business account, or straight to your builder, equipment supplier or the seller.
What we look at
Every business is different, but most conversations cover the same ground:
- What you need and why. A fit-out, a machine, stock, a quiet-month buffer or a second site.
- How you trade. Your bank statements, your busy and quiet months, how bills and wages are paid. Our seasonal trade planner helps you map this.
- Your lease. How long you'll be in the premises, and any options.
- Security. Whether residential or commercial property is available.
- Your history. Credit issues and ATO debt are considered case by case, so tell us upfront.
The two main paths
Unsecured and cash-flow options: Unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses, typically $5,000 to $500,000, sized on turnover and bank statements.
Property-secured options: Property-secured business loans from $20,000 to $5,000,000 — first mortgages, second mortgages and caveat loans over residential or commercial property.
We don't publish interest rates, because each loan is priced on the business's own circumstances. You'll get real figures once we understand yours.
Common questions
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire with Pronto Loans. A credit check is only discussed once you've seen your options and decided to go ahead.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. We don't do spray-and-pray. A real person reviews your situation and matches it properly, so you won't be flooded with calls from strangers during service.
What should I have ready for the first call?
Roughly how much you need and what it's for, your recent trading, your lease details and any property you own. Quotes for equipment or fit-out work help too.
Why do you ask so many questions on the form?
Because accurate answers let us match you properly the first time. The amount, purpose, state, trading history and any property security all change which options fit.
Can funds be paid directly to my builder or supplier?
Often, yes. For fit-outs, equipment and business purchases, funds can frequently be paid directly to the builder, supplier or seller, depending on the facility.
Ready when you are
If you're planning a fit-out, start with our fit-out cost estimator so you know your number. Then tell us about it. Please answer the form accurately so we can match you properly first time.
